Here we go...

Over the years, I've become so frustrated with businesses taking advantage of me, not delivering what they promise, and bad practice in general. I've also become sickened by the lack of quality in products these days. If only I had been warned before I trusted these businesses and products... and how do you find out who's worthy of your hard earned cash? BBB just doesn't cut it. What's worse is that many don't even know when they are being taken advatage of; they'll trust any professional because, well, they're "professional". Just because a mechanic's ASE certified doesn't mean he has the common sense to troubleshoot your car, and even if he does, this doesn't mean he'll use it; let's face it, he makes more money taking the long way.

I've been thinking about posting my experiences with problem businesses and the good ones for years now, but after dealing with a PITA laptop repair shop over the last few months, I've decided it's time to do something. I hope that, as a result, fewer people will make the same mistakes I did.

While many of the businesses posted will be Texas specific, there are also many businesses and products available nation wide.
